How does SD-WAN work?

Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WANs) work by utilizing software programs to direct network traffic along different paths to ensure faster network speed and higher levels of security.

The SD-WAN process involves multiple connections and routers for different locations and users. Through a central controller, SD-WANs are able to get a birds eye view of all the traffic coming into and going out of the various networks, and then direct that traffic accordingly.
