What is SD-WAN?

SD-WAN stands for Software-Defined Wide Area Network. It is a type of technology that helps facilitate secure and reliable connections from many different places to a central network server within an organization.  SD-WANs rely on software programs that act as “air traffic controllers,” directing different types of internet traffic to different networks in order to avoid bottlenecks, slow network speed, and network or system failures.
