Cloud-based SD-WAN or SD-WAN-as-a-Service (SDWaaS) is a technology that utilizes the cloud to provide and manage fast and secure network connections across many different devices and locations. Cloud-based SD-WAN services are more cost-effective and efficient than on-premise network setups and are usually managed and maintained by third-party cloud-service providers. These types of services have grown in popularity due to the increase of remote work since the pandemic.
